Chef/owner Irasema Mendoza's goal was to prepare and serve authentic Mexican food to “the quests in my home, Ay! Caramba .” She and her business associates, Judy Blatchford and Ralph Mendoza have achieved that goal, this food is fantastic and unlike anything else in the area. “The food you find in Mexico you'll find here.” Mendoza claims Chili Rellenos and Chicken Mole are her specialty dishes, but the tacos, burritos and quesadillas are just as special to the constant flow of customers in the café. With the recent addition of a cantina offering margaritas and sangria, the restaurant is more than complete. From the chips with freshly made salsa to the hibiscus flower in the margarita, Ay! Caramba is a complete Mexican experience here on Cape Cod . Ay! Caramba , this food is great!
