In Mexico February 14th is not just for Lovers. It is a day celebrating friendship and love. This year bring your Valentine or friends for a special valentine dinner at Ay! Caramba.

This Valentines in Harwich we will celebrate with a five-course dinner and wine tasting accompanied by the music from the duetto of Joanna and Carlos Garcia. They will perform seranatas, songs to touch the heart.

The evening starts at 6:30. Reservations must be made in advance. Tickets cost $65.00 pp and can be purchased at our Harwich location or online at the Ay! Caramba Online Store. What is a better gift for Valentines Day for some one who loves wines or Mexican food?

On Saturday, January 27th, 2007 we entered one of the biggest chili cook-offs in the East at the PA Club in Oak Bluffs. It was the 21^st Annual MVY Big Chili Contest. The proceeds from the tickets sold went to benefit the Red Stocking Fund for needy Martha's Vineyard families. For more information about the Red Stocking Fund click here. Last year they raised around $17,000 from 1000 tickets sold. This year even before the event opened they sold 1400 tickets and were still selling them at the door.

We were located in the main tent in near the stage where the Mariachi Chapala Band and Entrain performed. We served our Chile Verde with pork, a green chili made from fresh tomatillos and jalepenos. It was a huge hit with every one there along with some other strange creations like chocolate chili and the amazing chili ice cream.

Our Cape Cod Chili t-shirts were also a big hit. Even one of the band members of Entrain ended up wearing one of our t-shirts on stage, as you can see in the photo gallery and slide show.
